We are on our quest to find the perfect Amazon seller platform to help you on your ecommerce journey.
That’s why today, we are conducting a head-to-head comparison of Helium 10 and SellerApp.
Are they equally powerful?
Who is the most suitable for you?
This and more questions will be solved in this post.
Helium 10 vs SellerApp
Helium 10
Helium10 was funded in 2015 and it currently has over 2 million users worldwide. It’s one of the most popular Amazon seller platforms out there. In fact, they have recently become part of Amazon Emerald (we’ll talk more about this later).
They also have an award-winning training series and multiple webinars so you never stop learning!
SellerApp
SellerApp is an Amazon all-in-one seller tool founded by four entrepreneurs, among them Dilip Vamanan and Brij Purohit. The company works with big brands: Samsung, HP and Philips.
The strength of SellerApp seems to be in the ads since they recently launched an AI-based Ad Automation program.
They are also currently celebrating their birthday with up to 50% off on their plans so it’s a perfect time to visit their website.
Key Features
Product research
Helium 10 has three tools that are suitable for this task: their Chrome extension, Xray and Black Box.
Black Box allows users to search for Amazon products via different metrics. Its core metrics include the monthly revenue a product generates, the number of reviews a product has and the overall star rating of the product.
Xray, on the other hand, analyzes the demand and competition of an entire market on a selected results page.
We’ll talk about the Chrome extension later on.
Meanwhile, SellerApp’s Product Research gives you access to over 100 million product records and a billion data points.
You’ll be able to view and analyze different key metrics for products like BSR, price, estimated sales, revenue and more. Besides, you can use advanced filters to identify top products in a category.
Keyword research
Helium 10 has two keyword research tools: Magnet and Cerebro.
Magnet enables you to conduct exploratory keyword research with a number of filters and data points to identify viable opportunities.
Cerebro, on the other hand, helps you conduct a competitive analysis of your competitors’ keyword targets so you can reverse engineer their work.
With the SellerApp Keyword tool, you can identify the exact phrases customers use to shop for a product like yours. Similarly to Cerebro, it also lets you discover your competitors’ keyword strategies with the Reverse ASIN tool.
Listing optimizations
Helium 10 has a Listing Analyzer that shows you what makes a good listing be good. It gives you an in-depth look at any Amazon listing’s health by entering any ASIN. It even lets you directly compare multiple ASINs simultaneously.
Plus, last April Helium 10 released an AI listing builder. This builder is available on the Diamond plan and it uses the power of ChatGPT to automatically generate your title, bullet points and product description.
SellerApp’s Listing Quality feature analyzes your keyword visibility and assigns it a score. Then it conducts an in-depth analysis of your competitors’ listing strategies and decodes what’s bringing them more sales.
It will give you practical recommendations to improve your listings but it doesn’t have an AI listing builder to make everything 10 times easier.
Amazon Emeralds
How you get your notifications is something extremely important. I know I have missed valuable updates because of issues with alerts.
Now all that can be easily fixed with Amazon Emerald, a new program that allows third-party services to send notifications directly to sellers on Amazon Seller. As it’s quite new, not many Amazon seller platforms have been included in this program yet.
However, Helium 10 is one of them!
SellerApp, sadly, isn’t currently on the program.
Walmart
Although we’re thinking about tools you can use as an Amazon seller, it’s always good to consider all features. In this case, both Helium 10 and SellerApp show their versatility by supporting the Walmart Marketplace as well as Amazon’s.
Although we’re not here for Walmart, you never know when your business will expand and having this tool will help you become a pro.
Helium 10’s features that work both for Amazon and Walmart are Cerebro, Magnet, Keyword Tracker and Profits. Similarly, SellerApp offers users Keyword Tracking, Product Research, and Keyword Research tools for their Walmart businesses.
Other features
As mentioned before, we can’t forget about SellerApp’s AI-based Ad Automation program. Once SellerApp understands your pain points, it will discover market potential. Then you just have to set up automation tailored to goals and let the magic happen.
Collaboration tools
Helium 10 gives you one user seat on its free plan and lower premium plans. When you reach the Diamond plan, you get 5 user seats.
The Team Management feature is available on SellerApp only for paid tiers. With it, you can share your subscription with up to 5 team members.
Free tools
Although Helium 10 has a free forever plan, it also offers free tools such as an Amazon keyword tool, Amazon Sales Estimator and Amazon Trending products.
You can use these tools on their dedicated landing page, yet if you sign up for a free account, you’ll receive a higher level of access and more searches each month.
SellerApp, however, doesn’t have any free tools.
Chrome extension
Both Helium 10 and SellerApp’s Chrome extensions offer different levels of access depending on the plan you have.
Helium 10 offers a Chrome extension with extensive looks at product search results pages directly on Amazon. This includes essential product validation data such as monthly sales, average revenue and estimated Amazon FBA fees.
Languages and marketplaces supported
Helium 10 supports English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, German and Italian. This means that the dashboard is accessible to people whether they speak English or not.
Helium 10 works for 13 marketplaces, including Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Australia and Japan.
This is a point where most Amazon sellers can’t compete.
However, SellerApp manages to beat Helium in the number of marketplaces supported. It works for 19 marketplaces!
Resources and support
Helium 10 uploads videos frequently, with multiple videos per week. They have a Facebook community you can join to discuss industry news and learn helpful tips and selling strategies.
If you need help, you can go to their knowledge base or submit a question.
You can contact SellerApp via email or phone. They have headquarters in India and Singapore. SellerApp also has a blog as well as a help center and constantly uploads videos and livestreams to their YouTube channel.

Verdict
That was our peak into Helium 10 and SellerApp’s platforms.
The thing is it’s truly hard to decide since both have so many cool features.
The thing that mostly catches my eye from SellerApp is the amount of marketplaces they support. So if you are already established and want to reach plenty of countries, it’s certainly the best option.
However, if you’re just starting out and want to prioritize user experience, Helium 10’s Emerald badge guarantees you everything will run smoothly.
