It’s time to find the perfect Amazon seller for you.
Today, in this post, we cover Helium 10 and Zoof.
We’ll compare their key features, pricing, pros and cons, and find out which one is the best!
Helium 10 vs Zoof
Helium 10
Helium10 was funded in 2015 and it currently has over 2 million users worldwide.
It is a multifaceted tool that you can use at any point in your Amazon journey. Plus, some tools are also suitable for Walmart.
Helium also has an award-winning training series and multiple webinars so you never stop learning!

Zoof
Zoof was founded by Amazon FBA experts who have worked with all the different tools.
Compared to Helium 10, Zoof is a newcomer. However, it has industry-leading business intelligence, which makes its data and analytics very powerful.
They are helping Amazon sellers worldwide and have processed over 25 million orders.
Key features
Dashboard
Helium 10 has currently two dashboards: the old one and the new one. You can use whichever you prefer, although they aren’t very different.
From the dashboard, you’ll be able to access its main features: Product Research, Listing Optimization, Analytics, Learning and Operations.
Both Zoof and Helium 10 dashboards are clean and very user-friendly.
Product research
Zoof’s product research tool is called Spotlight and it gives products a Spotlight Score. The higher the score, the better the opportunity.
Spotlight starts working as soon as you create your Zoof account and specify your budget and the products you’re interested in. After that, the product will search thoroughly to find the perfect product for you to sell on Amazon.
Helium 10 has three tools that are suitable for this task: their Chrome extension, Xray and Black Box.
Black Box allows users to search for Amazon products via different metrics. Its core metrics include the monthly revenue a product is generating, the number of reviews a product has and the overall star rating of the product.
Xray, on the other hand, analyzes the demand and competition of an entire market on a selected results page.
Keyword research
Helium 10 has two keyword research tools: Magnet and Cerebro.
Magnet enables you to conduct exploratory keyword research with a number of filters and data points to identify viable opportunities.
Cerebro, on the other hand, helps you conduct a competitive analysis of your competitors’ keyword targets so you can reverse engineer their work.
Zoof Keyword Finder shows you a keyword’s search volume, the total number of products on Amazon, average reviews and average price, among other metrics.
It also displays similar keywords with monthly sales, keyword search volumes, the total number of competing products and their average reviews, scores and prices.
Listing optimization
Zoof has a Listing Editor which helps you refine and organize your keywords by removing duplicates, maintaining certain phrases and more.
Helium 10 has a Listing Analyzer that shows you what makes a good listing be good. It gives you an in-depth look at any Amazon listing’s health by entering any ASIN. It even lets you directly compare multiple ASINs simultaneously.
Plus, last April Helium 10 released an AI listing builder. The builder is available on the Diamond plan and it uses the power of ChatGPT to automatically generate your title, bullet points and product description.
Profit Calculator
Helium 10 recently launched its Profitability Calculator. This tool is part of the Chrome extension and can be used on any Amazon product page.
It gives users the ability to not only view estimated, profit-centric data but also to plug and play with their own numbers and see how it affects their bottom line.
Zoof’s Profit Calculator is also quite complete. It takes metrics like manufacturing, storage fees, transportation and more into account.
Among its metrics, you’ll find the profit margin. Make sure this metric is always 30% or higher, otherwise, you might end up having issues.
Walmart
Although Helium 10 started as an Amazon tool, it has expanded to Walmart Marketplace.
The features that work both for Amazon and Walmart are Cerebro, Magnet, Keyword Tracker and Profits.
Zoof only works for Amazon, at least for now.
Collaboration tools
When it comes to adding more users to your account, both platforms let you add at least five. This option is available with Zoof on their upper plan once you connect it to Seller Central.
With Helium 10, the process is very simple. Even on its free plan, you get five user seats.
Free tools
Although Helium 10 has a free forever plan, they also offer free tools. You can use these tools on their dedicated landing page, yet if you sign up for a free account, you’ll receive a higher level of access and more searches each month.
The list of free tools includes the free Amazon keyword tool, Amazon Sales Estimator and Amazon Trending products.
Zoof, sadly, doesn’t offer any free tools.
Languages available
Helium 10 supports English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, German and Italian.
However, Zoof only supports English.
Chrome extension
Helium 10 offers a free Chrome extension with extensive looks at product search results pages directly on Amazon. This includes essential product validation data such as: monthly sales, average revenue and estimated Amazon FBA fees.
Similarly, Zoof’s extension allows you to analyze every product on Amazon instantly to see sales, reviews, pricing history and more. However, while you can use Helium 10’s extension with a free plan, you’ll need to pay for using any of Zoof’s features.
Other features
Zoof has a Misspelling Checker which finds misspelling keywords that Amazon leaves uncorrected. These misspellings will have very few results on Amazon so they are your chance to quickly get indexed and ranked for.
It also offers a URL Builder to quickly create any type of super URL using its existing presets or a custom structure.
As to Helium 10, they have Helium 10 Portals, a web page builder design to help you drive external traffic from social media and paid ads more directly to your product page.
Support and resources
Helium 10 uploads videos to YouTube frequently, with multiple videos per week. They have a Facebook community you can join to discuss industry news and learn helpful tips and selling strategies.
If you need help, you can go to their knowledge base or submit a question.
Zoof, however, doesn’t have learning resources available on its website. You can contact their support team via email; they pride themselves on having excellent support and, yes, they are very quick to answer.
However, I don’t like their lack of a knowledge base or FAQ section, since it leaves its potential customers kind of in the dark.
Pricing
Helium 10 has a 7-day money-back guarantee if you’re not satisfied with the Helium10 suite of tools:
- Free forever: try the features Black Box, Xray and Xray for Walmart with some limitations.
- Starter: $29 per month if paid annually. Access business coaching and limited keyword research and limited use of Black Box.

- Platinum: $67 per month. Access the URL builder, the Index Checker and the Multi-Channel dashboard.

You can also contact Zoof to get a custom plan.

Verdict
So there you have it, our head-to-head comparison between Helium 10 and Zoof.
I’ve seen a lot of people very enthusiastic about Zoof, but the truth is I still don’t see how it compares to giants like Helium 10.
It sure has a lot of really cool features like its Misspelling Checker and URL Builder. However, Helium 10’s set of tools and free plan make it, in my opinion, a better choice.
