Having a strong social media presence is a key factor for reaching a wider audience and building trust. However, it’s also time-consuming.
Whether you are an entrepreneur with a small business or a social media manager, you can use some help. There are plenty of platforms that let you automate your strategy on different social media platforms, but today we want to focus on Hypefury, designed for Twitter (I mean, X).
We’ll see what it has to offer, its pricing, and more.
Hypefury
Hypefury is a social media marketing platform for scheduling and automating your content on X (formerly known as Twitter). It supports Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn, so you can automatically repost your tweets on other social accounts.
It’s also the first tool to support scheduled threads.
Getting started
You can get started with Hyperfury for free. You don’t need to create an account, simply log in to your Twitter and permit Hyperfury to see your tweets and all the obvious requirements.
Once you have done that, you must provide some basic information like your time zone and what you tweet about.
After that, you’ll arrive at the dashboard.
I really like Hypefury’s dashboard, I find it intuitive and pretty. You can choose its theme between dark, light or sync with the system.
In the upper right corner of the dashboard, you’ll see the “Set up” section, which will guide you on what you can do with this tool.
First off, it suggests scheduling a tweet. Let’s see how to do that.
Scheduling
When you click to schedule a tweet, the Creation section will open. It looks like you’re writing a tweet, with some exceptions.
You can schedule it, publish it to other social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn), see a preview and even get some inspiration.
Here’s how the inspiration feature works:
First, Hypefury will give you a series of theme options such as “family”, “unpopular opinion”, “work”, “crypto”, etc. Once you pick one, you’ll see a list of old tweets. If you like one, click on “Re-use Tweet”.
I thought that by clicking that, Hypefury would automatically rewrite the tweet, but it didn’t. You have to do that yourself unless, of course, you want to copy word by word what someone else said before you.
Hypefury does have an AI Tweets feature, though, just not for free users. The tool takes your best-performing tweets and auto-generates more for you. We will talk about some alternatives for free users later on.
Once you have your tweet, it’s time to schedule when it will be published. Hypefury will let you pick any day, but it will only give you some slots of time.
To have more options, head to the Queue page and select Schedule. This will give you access to all your scheduled slots, where you can easily add, modify or delete them according to your needs.
A cool feature here is the “Naturalize Schedule” option. By clicking this button, every time slot of your schedule will be automatically changed to a new time within a range of plus/minus 5 minutes of the original time. This feature will avoid having multiple round times, such as 9:00 AM, 1:30 PM and 7:00 PM, which may lack authenticity.
More options for your tweets
An important concept of content creation is evergreen content. That is content that continues to stay relevant over a long time. While reposting old content is easy on a website or blog, it’s harder on ???? due to its own rules.
That’s why, although evergreen tweets exist, they look a little different from other types of content. Basically, they depend on the user to keep retweeting it.
Thankfully, Hypefury automates this dull process. When you’re creating your tweet, toggle on the “Evergreen” option. Then go to settings and make sure the Auto retweet option is on.
When you do this, Hypefury will retweet a random evergreen post whenever a slot of your schedule is empty.
Another great feature is its ability to turn a blog into a thread in one paste. Forget about manually splitting the content to fit the tweet size, Hypefury automatically splits it for you!
Power-ups
On the power-ups page, you’ll find even more features to boost your tweets such as Auto Unretweeter, a power-up that every 24 hours, will unretweet all the tweets you retweeted in the last 24 hours.
There’s also the Tweeter Autoplug which auto replies to your own tweets to share links or promos in the comments. And the Post Tweet to IG feature that automatically cross-posts your tweets to IG to expand your audience, among other tools.
Integrating with other apps
As mentioned before, Hypefury lets you repost your tweets as tweetshots to other social media accounts like Instagram and Facebook.
It gives you total customization of how those tweetshots look, from their layout to their theme. Personally, I prefer a more simple and classic look, but you can go with wilder and eye-catching options such as this one:
Besides those integrations, you can also link your Gumroad account with Hypefury to promote your sales.
On the Create a Sale window, you’ll be able to configure the details of your promotion. Hypefury lets you enable quote tweet reminders that will display different wordings depending on the kind of alert or reminder.
If you wish to connect to other apps, you can generate an API key.
Engagement Builder
A big part of building your network and growing on a social media platform depends on you engaging with other accounts. You need to show up in replies so people know you exist. That means engaging with at least 15-20 accounts every day.
That too can be done with Hypefury.
Within the Engagement Builder page, you can create a custom feed of your own based on a list of users or from a keyword search. Simply add the usernames of at least 2 Twitter users and some search terms you want to interact with. The limits vary according to the plan you are in.
Once the feed is ready, you’ll be able to reply, quote retweet, like, retweet, or react with an emoji, all in one place.
Collaboration
You can easily invite your assistant or team member to manage your Hypefury account by sending them an invitation link.
Free tools
Hypefury offers six social media tools you can use for free, four of them being AI writing assistants powered by ChatGPT: Twitter Bio Generator, Instagram Bio Generator, Threads Post Generator and Content Ideas Generator.
If you run a meme account, you’ll love the Fake Tweet Generator, which lets you generate mock-up fake tweets that look like real ones. And the tool is not limited to that, it also simulates a user block, replies, and user suspension.
Use responsibly!
