If you’re starting your journey of selling products on Amazon, you might have found it can be difficult. Amazon is always changing and you need to keep up with its guidelines.
To help you navigate that landscape, here are two popular Amazon seller tools: Jungle Scout and Zoof.
In this post, we’ll compare their features and pricing, consider their pros and cons, and finally figure out which one is the best for you.
Let’s see:
Jungle Scout vs Zoof
Jungle Scout
Jungle Scout is a platform that helps you sell on Amazon. It’s an Amazon seller software that shows you which are the winning products so you can launch your Amazon business.
It was created in 2015 by Greg Mercer and has headquarters in Austin, Texas, as well as two international offices.
Furthermore, it has a web app and a Chrome extension.
Zoof
Zoof was founded by Amazon FBA experts who have worked with all the different tools out there.
Compared to Jungle Scout, Zoof is a newcomer. However, it has industry-leading business intelligence, which makes its data and analytics sharper.
Currently, they are empowering Amazon sellers worldwide and have processed more than 25 million orders.
Key features
Product research
The product research tool is one of the most important of any Amazon seller platform.
Both Jungle Scout and Zoof help you find products on Amazon and display their respective monthly sales revenue, monthly sales volume, price, rank, etc.
Zoof’s product research tool is called Spotlight and it gives products a Spotlight Score. The higher the score, the better the opportunity.
Jungle Scout goes a bit further and offers multiple filters to narrow down your product search.
Opportunity finder
An opportunity finder is typically aimed at finding both niche and product ideas.
Both Jungle Scout and Zoof’s opportunity finders find you quality keywords and help you reverse-search competing ASINs for organic and sponsored keyword ranking data.
However, once again Jungle Scout stands out thanks to not being limited to Amazon’s US marketplace.
Keyword research
Zoof Keyword Finder shows you a keyword’s search volume, the total number of products on Amazon, average reviews, average price and so on.
It also displays similar keywords with monthly sales, keyword search volumes, the total number of competing products and their average reviews, scores and prices.
Jungle Scout also has an advanced keyword research tool called Keyword Scout. This tool performs reverse ASIN searches for up to 10 ASINs at once. It also lets you export the keyword ideas as a CSV file.
Finding a supplier
Once you know what you want to sell, it’s time to find a manufacturer to produce it. This involves vetting, negotiating and choosing a supplier.
To facilitate this process, Jungle Scout has a massive supplier database. This tool allows users to search by product, company, supplier or ASIN to put sellers in touch with the right product-sourcing expert.
Moreover, Jungle Scout also has a Supplier Tracker which helps you to manage and track multiple suppliers at once.
Zoof, sadly, doesn’t include anything alike.
Listing optimization
Jungle Scout also has a Listing Grader which allows users to input any single ASIN and receive a grade. The grade is based on listing title character count, number of product features, description character count, along with the number and resolution of product images.
You can even directly compare multiple ASINs simultaneously.
Zoof, on the other hand, has its Listing Editor, which helps you refine and organize your keywords by removing duplicates, maintaining certain phrases and more.
Although both Jungle Scout and Zoof have very cool listing optimization tools, Jungle Scout is more powerful thanks to its AI technology. They use the power of OpenAI’s ChatGPT technology to generate product listing content within a matter of seconds!
Browser extensions
Both platforms offer a free Google Chrome extension.
And both extensions offer extensive looks at product search results pages directly on Amazon. This includes essential product validation data such as monthly sales, average revenue and estimated Amazon FBA fees.
Jungle Scout also offers a Firefox extension.
Collaboration tools
Both platforms let you add more users to your account in their upper plan.
Jungle Scout lets you add up to 6 seats. It also lets you buy additional seats in its Suite and Professional plans. Additional seats cost $459 per year.
With Zoof you can connect to Seller Central and add up to 5 accounts.
Languages available
While Jungle Scout is available in 7 languages, including French, German and Italian, Zoof only supports English. Points for Jungle Scout for being multilingual.
Other features
Zoof has a Misspelling Checker which finds misspelling keywords that Amazon leaves uncorrected. These misspellings will have very few results on Amazon so they are your chance to quickly get indexed and ranked for.
Zoof also offers a URL Builder to quickly create any type of super URL using their existing presets or a custom structure. This tool allows you to build custom URLs with different variables (like keywords) and make your visitors access Amazon products through different URLs.
You can also track your statistics in real-time by adding a Facebook pixel, Google Analytics or custom tracking code, and keep track of all the visits you receive.
As to Jungle Scout, they offer an API for their enterprise plan users
Free tools
Jungle Scout offers two free tools. The Profit Calculator, for which you need to fill in your email. And the Sales Estimator is available online and with a limit of 10 estimates per day.
Zoof, on the contrary, doesn’t offer any free tools. Their FBA Profit Calculator is part of their Google Chrome extension and you need to be a Zoof user to access it.
Support and resources
Jungle Scout has a knowledge base, a FAQ section and featured articles. For Jungle Scout users, there’s an Academy with over 130 videos that gives guidance from Amazon pros.
You can contact Jungle Scout by filling out a form or sending an email.
There are also plenty of learning resources such as consumer trend reports and case studies.
Zoof, however, doesn’t have learning resources available on its website. You can contact their support team via email; they pride themselves on having excellent support and, yes, they are very quick to answer.
However, I find a bit troubling their lack of a knowledge base or FAQ section, which leaves its potential customers kind of in the dark.
Pricing
Jungle Scout has a risk-free trial for 7 days with a money-back guarantee.
Jungle Scout offers three standard plans for entrepreneurs that are just starting:
- Basic: $29 per month if paid yearly. You can track 20 products and access their Amazon Sales Estimator.
- Suite: $49 per month. Uncover profitable opportunities and find suppliers to source your products.
- Professional: $84 per month. Includes 6 users and 2 years of historical data.
If you want to start selling as soon as possible, Jungle Scout has some more expensive Suite options, including training courses and priority onboarding.
To access Jungle Scout Cobalt, their enterprise solution, request a demo.
Zoof, on the other hand, has a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee:
- Essentials: $29 per month if paid annually. It includes the Profit Calculator, the Opportunity Finder and the Chrome extension.
- Platinum: $67 per month. Get access to the URL builder, the Index Checker and the Multi-Channel dashboard.

You can also contact Zoof to get a custom plan.

Verdict
In this post, we faced Zoof and Jungle Scout in the hopes of finding a great adversary to the legendary Jungle Scout.
What did our research find?
Well, although Zoof is certainly a powerful Amazon seller, it falls short in a lot of aspects compared to Jungle Scout.
Jungle Scout easily wins this comparison for multiple reasons. Not only does it have basic features the other lacks, such as multilingual support, but it also provides free tools, tons of learning resources and ChatGPT technology.
In my opinion, it is a crushing victory.
But I am curious to know your take.
Have you tried Zoof?
Do you think it’s better than Jungle Scout?
