The List Begins With The Most Beginner SEO Friendly Plugin:

The Plugin consists of only one non-confusing page where all of the options are available. You can easily enable or disable any unit right from the homepage. There is no configuration needed.
Just like any other plugin listed, there is a live editor element for you to analyze and optimize the SEO of the content you are writing. You can also add a custom except for description (recommended) and apply a no-index tag to the post.
The SEO framework is highly recommended over Yoast for Beginners.
SmartCrawl SEO
SmartCrawl is a free SEO plugin from WPMU Dev, and they’ve done a great job in this plugin. SmartCrawl is mostly an automatic SEO manager for your blog.
It comes with a real-time content scanner and keyword scanner, suggesting how well your content is optimized around your target keyword.
If you have an old site, SmartCrawl will scan your whole content and website and automatically set the best SEO settings for you. It let you create sitemaps, adjust meta descriptions and titles, and everything you would need to have.

Squirrly SEO, Stands as the best alternative between paid and free plugins. You can easily do live Keyword Analysis, keyword research, and content duration through your editor.
With squirrly, You can Even track your position on google search results. This is probably the best feature of this Seo plugin.

Yoast
The Most Popular SEO Plugin, formerly known as WordPress SEO by Yoast, is surely one of the best plugins you can use to boost your rankings.
With the latest update I. E. 7.0, the Yoast has proven to be the most beginner-friendly plugin out there. The plugin misses some advanced features in its free version, as you don’t really need them to rank higher.
The readability analysis that comes free with this plugin all makes it easy to write better content that humans love.
I recommend the free Yoast plugin as well. Its premium version is recommended. The premium plugin will help you with smart internal linking and easy redirections as well.
All In One SEO Pack
This list would be incomplete without mentioning the oldest SEO plugin for WordPress, the all in one SEO pack. This plugin provides the base for Yoast and similar plugins.
All of the functions between Yoast and all in one SEO pack remains the same. Both of the plugins are identical and have nothing special. Free All in one SEO pack lacks some features when compared to Yoast. All in one SEO pack is indeed a great plugin for beginners and advanced users; it comes with extra features in the form of add-ons for free.
I hope that you have found the plugin you were looking for. Choosing the right Seo plugin will help you from day one, so choose wisely. I have provided you with enough information to judge among them.
Also, note that any of the plugins will work the same Difference between them are minor as well as major. Some of them do provide additional capabilities, so it’s up to you. Choose the one which best suits your needs.

Hello Aayush,
Just read your article, I found it quite informative although I would have loved more information for each plugin.
I was wondering if you have ever tried Site Quality Plugin by Traffic Research that only recently came out?
It is basic to use and designed to detect thin content pages that Google appears to be targeting.
Aayush Bhaskar
I’ve heard about it, It’s a simple plugin that analyzes content based on Word count, linking and I also think it scans particular chain of links to find if they add value to your overall website or not. I already use SEMrush site audit so I currently don’t need that but it indeed is a good plugin for finding thin content.

This was a very good article. I am still stuck as a beginner between Yoast and All in one. I can never make Yoast happy but I don’t see any analysis features on the All in One so i’m just not getting it yet ????

Try Rank Math, it should work for you.
